Call for Presenters – NJAFPA 2018 Annual Conference

We are seeking dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable presenters for the 2018 NJAFPA Annual Conference.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Karen Mapp, Harvard University
“Building Capacity for Family Engagement“
AUDIENCE
The primary conference audience consists of District Administrators, Directors, Coordinators, and Building Principals who support the use of Federal Funds (Title I, II, III, IV) to support student achievement. Workshop content and instruction should be geared to a level that is appropriate for the target audience.
CRITERIA
Proposals are solicited for 60-minute presentations that are hands-on, interactive, creative, dynamic, and feature best practices. The presentation timeframe will include introductions, presentation material, question and answer session, and evaluation. Attendees should leave with specific knowledge and skills about various aspects of the topic and how it relates to the planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainability of using Federal Funds. Presentations should provide attendees with educational value and refrain from promoting a specific business, product, or service.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
- Deadline for submission – Wednesday, November 15, 2017
- Response – Thursday, November 30, 2017
- Submission of final presentations for review – April 4, 2018
