The New Jersey Association of Federal Program Administrators (NJAFPA) is a professional association of public school federal program administrators that provides support, guidance and on-going professional learning for entitlement programs within New Jersey public schools.
Who will benefit from attending NJAFPA meetings and conferences?
Building Administrators, Directors, Superintendents, Supervisors, and Teachers who coordinate, manage, or participate in supplemental federal program under ESSA, such as Title I, Title II, Title III, Title III Immigrant or Title IV.
What are the benefits of an annual membership; where are the meetings held?
An annual membership is $150 and includes a total of 5 meetings held during the 2019-2020 school year. Additional benefits of joining NJAFPA are gaining access to a network of federal education professionals and up-to-the-minute information on federal and state legislation and issues as well as opportunities for scholarships for NJAFPA members’ district students. As a member of NJAFPA, you would also enjoy membership in the National Association of Federal Program Administrators (NAFEPA), whose mission is “To be the trusted leader and resource for Federal Programs that support each student’s success.”

How are the meetings organized and what is the content?
Each meeting begins with breakfast and valuable time for networking, followed by a quick vendor presentation focused on specific use of federal programming; presentations by the NJDOE, district presentations, and other experts. Topics include: Title I Schoolwide Planning, Title I Targeted Assistance Program, Preparing for Stakeholder Meetings, Nonpublic Consultation, Title I, Title II, Title III and III Immigrant, Adverse Childhood Experience (ACES), Equity, Family Engagement, STEM, and more.
